Our Fees
At Therapy for Kids, we’re committed to honesty and transparency when it comes to our services and pricing. We do our best to ensure families are never caught off guard by charges, and we always strive to keep costs as low and fair as possible.
Below, you’ll find a detailed schedule outlining the services we provide, what each includes, and the associated rates and time allocations. This Fee Schedule is effective from 1st May 2025 for all services delivered within the Perth metropolitan area.
Our goal is to make our services accessible while maintaining the highest standard of care for our clients. At the same time, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where our team feels supported, valued, and empowered to deliver the best outcomes for the children and families we work with.
Our Clinicians
Our clinicians are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to every client, and their work extends well beyond face-to-face sessions. Behind each session is a significant amount of preparation, coordination, research, and resource development—all of which contribute to the quality and effectiveness of our services.
Our clinicians are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to every client, and their work extends well beyond face-to-face sessions. Behind each session is a significant amount of preparation, coordination, research, and resource development—all of which contribute to the quality and effectiveness of our services.
To support this, we include a charge for indirect, non-face-to-face support. This ensures our team has the time needed to plan and deliver meaningful, well-structured sessions tailored to each individual's needs. As per NDIS guidelines, this fee is based on the actual time the clinician spends preparing for each session, so it may vary slightly across invoices.
By including this, we can continue to provide consistent, high-quality care across the board.
Indirect Supports
At Therapy for Kids Perth, we do not charge clients for general administrative tasks such as processing referrals or scheduling appointments. We also aim to keep communication accessible by not charging for brief emails or text messages. Our goal is to ensure families feel supported without unexpected or unnecessary fees.
What we do charge for is the clinicians time spent working with or for their clients, some examples of indirect time below:
Preparation of the session – Including specific research, resource development, session planning
Treatment notes – Treatment notes are the notes our therapists must write after each session that outlines exactly what was completed in the session, goals achieve, other observations and how to proceed. This is a legal requirement of all therapists to ensure they are providing an efficient and effective service keeping up with each case (remembering our clinicians have a caseload of around 20 – 30 clients)
Meetings/phone calls – this may include our therapists having a multidisciplinary meeting, meeting with a teacher or support coordinator to gather more information or discuss progress. You will also know prior to each meeting and can decline if necessary.
Writing reports/letters – We provide each client with a comprehensive starter support plan when you first onboard. We can also provide any letters or reports needed.
Resource Creation – Our therapists can also create resources for you to use at home, or in school.
Our invoices will also distinguish between face-to-face sessions and indirect support time, this will be shown separately on each invoice, so you know exactly what we are charging for.
